Upcoming Events

Garden Party

Reserve your place at our table at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th to enjoy:

  • Live music from Stardusters 25 person Big Band
  • Appetizers, adult beverages, full coffee and tea service
  • Farm-to-table inspired five-course brunch served in style by student farm volunteers (with seating chart available in advance to ensure all of our guests are pleased with their fine dining experience)
  • Dancing! New this year we are partnering with The Dance Project to offer professional swing dance performances, as well as dance instruction.
  • Ticketed Raffle
  • This elegant affair will also offer student led garden tours and an opportunity to learn more about the scholarships and programs supported by your attendance.

It will be a beautiful day to support your favorite non-profit educational farm for kids and sustain the Wally Niezguski Farm Scholarship Fund.

3rd Annual Chicken Run

Join us on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 8:00am – 11:00am for our 3rd annual Chicken Run supporting our Pathways to Possibilities Project.  This project will provide safe and dignified accessibility to all farm visitors!  And you can help by either participating in the race, or becoming a sponsor or vendor.  This event will include:

  • Prizes in each category
  • Food, drink, medals and t-shirts for runners
  • Vendors & food trucks
  • Animal barn open
  • Hoophouse & gardens open
  • Hog Jog Race with our farm pig and her piglets
  • A traveling trophy and a Farm Free Family Fun Day awarded to the school with the most participation
  • 8:00 Check-in begins
  • 9:00 Race Start

Online registration is required, visit the link below for additional race details and to register.  Please note that you’ll need to register by May 19th to receive t-shirts and medals on race day.   We look forward to seeing you at this wonderful event!

Picnic & Paws

If you’re a dog lover, this is the event for you!!  Join Great Lakes Dog Rescue on Sunday, June 30th from 1-4 for a new fundraising event to be held at Clarkston Family Farm.  Picnic & Paws will be filled with many fun, dog-themed activities for the entire family to enjoy.  Your participation will help raise funds to support the rescue dogs at GLDR, and if you’re looking to adopt a rescue dog, stop by the adoption station at this event to see if the perfect pup is waiting for you!
