Thanksgiving Pumpkins Workshop

Come join us to learn all about pumpkins and squashes and gourds, and have some fun getting ready for Thanksgiving by making a planted centerpiece/ porch decoration (your choice) at our new workshop on Thursday, November 13th from 5-6:30 p.m..  You will get to taste some pumpkin creations and take home some recipes that you can also use for Thanksgiving.   Our animals will be part of the fun as you share your leftover pumpkin/squash with them!  Click the  button below to learn more or register.  We hope to see you there!

Christmas at the Farm 2025

We are excited to announce our 2025 Christmas at the Farm event to be held on Saturday, December 6th from 3-6 pm.  This is an absolute farm favorite event to host, and we can’t wait for you to join us in celebration of the 2025 Holiday Season!  So get your Christmas on (literally, we’re having a costume contest w/prizes) and come out and rock the night (afternoon) away in our swell new Jingle Bell Town (pavilion), where some of your favorite Christmas characters will be leading you in holiday dance and song!  There are also a few of your favorite things like visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus, Christmas crafts, Hot cocoa & treats, holiday hayrides, bonfires, and oh yes….  can’t forget about our adorable furry friends who will be decked out in their holiday finery.  And if you stay till the very end, there is a most special candlelight sing-a-long at closing.  One small (we hope) change this year…. we are requesting your help with a suggested $5 pp registration fee (more info about that on the registration page).
So get registered….  because space is limited and we don’t want you to miss out on all of the fun!  Hope to see you there!

Clarkston Family Farm Policy Statement on Political Activity

To comply with IRS regulations and protect our tax-exempt status:

1.  No Political Campaign Events

Our facilities, programs, and resources may not be used to promote, support, or oppose any candidate for elected public office.  This includes campaign rallies, fundraisers, or events that could reasonably be perceived as partisan political activity.

2.  Equal Access for Non-Campaign Events

We welcome educational, cultural, and community events that align with our mission.  If outside groups rent or use our facilities, they must do so under our standard rental/use policies and agreements.  Political campaigns may not use our property unless all candidates for the same office are offered the exact same opportunity, under the same terms and conditions, and the organization remains strictly neutral.

3.  Issue Advocacy vs. Campaigning

We may host events that discuss important public issues connected to our mission (sch as sustainable agriculture, food systems, and environmental education).  However, such events will not endorse or oppose candidates or political parties.

4.  Clarity of Organizational Neutrality

Any event held at our facilities must make clear that the Clarkston Family Farm does not endorse any candidate, political party, or campaign.
