The Sunflower Market &
Gathering Space
We are excited to offer Clarkston and surrounding communities a hub for locally grown natural and organic produce, artisan goods and more (yes, we are like a year-round mini farmer’s market)! Our market is our welcome center, an extension of our non-profit educational farm and helps to support our ongoing programming, provide a community meeting and gathering space, create opportunities to teach children about where their food comes from and connect Clarkston with locally grown produce and our amazing artisans! When you shop at our Sunflower Market, it is a win-win, because not only are you supporting local farmers and artisans, but all proceeds go right back into supporting outdoor education for kids! This unique farm/educational market space is yours to enjoy- come by and see what we have to offer!
The Farm & Sunflower Market is in full swing with Spring Hours and Spring CSA!

Exciting News....Our Spring CSA is back and better than ever!
A CSA (or Community Supported Agriculture) program is designed to offer a partnership with your local farm. This innovative system allows members of the community to support sustainable agriculture by committing to, not only local farming, but in our case, a non-profit farm for kids! Here at the Clarkston Family Farm, our mission is to get kids outside and educate them about the value of nature, healthy food and sustainable farming. A Clarkston Family Farm CSA membership is just one more way to support our mission and be a part of our community enjoying weekly, fresh and in-season produce and market items.
Spring 2026 CSA. What to Expect
Our Spring CSA uses a shopper’s-choice model which means shoppers can fill up their bags with fresh farm produce AND any market items they choose up to their weekly share amount of $50. Example of market items include (but are not limited to):
- Local honey & maple syrup
- Bread & baked goods (including gluten-free)
- Cook’s Farm Dairy products
- Roasted nuts
- Chips & salsa
- Beef tallow products
- Flowers (in season)
- Artisan goods (candles, books, more)
- CFF merchandise (t-shirts, mugs, etc.)
All items are sourced from trusted local farmers, bakers, and retailers.
Also included with CSA membership is a weekly newsletter highlighting an item and/or vendor of the week, recipes, tips, reminders and information on upcoming events.

Our CSA Mission: To provide an abundant and diverse offering of high-quality local farm goods to our community at a fair price, while offering support through a weekly email communication that includes tips on preparing, storing, cooking, and getting the most out of your CSA share.
We began a new giving program last winter called “Blessing Baskets”. It grew out of a wish to do a little more for people than just our one-time gift of a “Giving Basket” during the holidays that we have done in the past. The idea was to make a more substantial impact on their needs, by providing them with fresh food and cooking lessons on a weekly basis over the winter months.
With your help, in 2025 we were able to provide 20 local families in need with weekly fresh food for 12 weeks through the gifting of a CSA Share. If you sponsored a family(s) last year, THANK YOU! We and the participants are so very grateful. It was an amazing program and so of course, we want to do it again!
Our Winter CSA has changed a bit for 2026 (will be 8 weeks this year and formatted a bit differently / see details above for more information specifically about our Winter CSA program), but the general concept for the Blessing Baskets will remain the same… providing fresh food, recipes & cooking instruction weekly over the winter months of 2026 through sponsorship of CSA shares.
This year, we are hoping to provide 25 sponsorships. If you are inspired to help out this winter, click the link below to Learn More / Sponsor for 2026. Thank you, for all of the ways that you help us to be better together!
